Marks & Spencer Guernsey
Marks & Spencer Guernsey needed a cohesive and consistent marketing presence across digital platforms. With no in-house marketing team, their content was outdated, inconsistent, and lacking structure.
My Role
As the outsourced marketing manager, I stepped in to implement structure, create fresh content, manage their online presence, and ensure community connection through local initiatives.
Key Challenges & Solutions
Inconsistent Content: No clear direction or calendar meant posts were sporadic and off-brand.
→ I created a detailed content plan, ensuring regular, high-quality posts that reflect M&S Guernsey’s tone and product offering.
Outdated Visuals: Previous content did not reflect the quality or style expected of the M&S brand.
→ Designed a fresh suite of visual templates and brand-consistent assets for daily and seasonal campaigns.
Website Updates & Community Focus:
→ Regularly update the website with offers, events, and new product ranges, and support local community projects, helping reinforce the brand’s role in the local area.
Impact
M&S Guernsey now has a modern, consistent, and well-maintained digital presence. Community engagement has increased and the brand’s local identity has been strengthened, supported by ongoing strategic marketing support.
